Covid-19 Safety

Alaska Nature Guides is committed to the safety and health of our guests and employees. All participants on Alaska Nature Guides hikes and trips will be required to follow state and federal Covid safety protocols and mandates, and agree to follow guidedirections.

Physical distancing will be implemented whenever possible. Alaska Nature Guides requires all participants and guides to wear face masks that cover both the nose and mouth when in vehicles and during times when physical distancing is not possible. This applies equally to all guests, even those who have been vaccinated. Guests who have Covid symptoms will not be allowed on the trip. Any participant (including employees) who develops flu-like symptoms or receives positive Covid test results within two weeks of the trip must report it to Alaska Nature Guides so that we can notify the other participants.

We have strengthened our cleaning and sanitation procedures for vehicles, common spaces, and gear.% All gear that is used by guests will be thoroughly cleaned following CDC guidelines. Please see current Alaska travel guidelines at:
